What you are agreeing to.
Written the way I would say it to you, because a page you cannot read is not much of an agreement. This is between you and me, Bertha Ramírez, trading at berthasway.com.
What you get
Four short videos a week. Cooking, cleaning and the house. Every one of them is made because a member asked for it. You can also write to me privately, one to one, and I answer those myself. I answer as many as I can and as quickly as I can, but it is one person doing it, so please be patient with me if it takes a day or two. You can ask for something yourself at the kitchen table, and I write to whoever asked before I film theirs.
Videos stay on your page for as long as you are a member, so a week away means four waiting for you rather than four lost.
What it costs
Fifteen dollars a month, from the fifth day. It is taken on the same date each month until you stop it. Sales tax is added where the law requires it, and Stripe works that out and pays it.
If you joined in the first round, you keep fifteen dollars a month for as long as you stay, whatever I charge people who join later.
If you were given free days
Sometimes I offer a few free days to look around before the membership starts. If you came in on one of those, your card is taken when you join and nothing at all is charged during the free days. Stop inside them and you pay nothing. Do nothing and the membership simply begins when they run out. During free days you can watch the newest videos and read the kitchen table, but writing to me, writing at the table, putting your thumb up and the rest of the library are part of the membership itself and open up when it starts.
Stopping
There is a button on your own page. Press it and the membership stops that day. You are not asked why and you are not offered three other things instead.
Be aware of what "that day" means. Stopping ends it immediately, so if you stop halfway through a month you have paid for, the rest of that month is not refunded and access ends at once. If you would rather keep what you have paid for until the month runs out, write to me before you press it and I will sort it out.
Getting your money back
Seven days, no questions asked. If you join and it is not what you hoped, tell me any time within seven days of paying and I will refund you in full. You do not have to explain yourself, you do not have to send anything back, and I will not ask you to stay.
To ask for it, reply to any email I have sent you or write to bertha@berthasway.com. I do these myself and I do them the same day I see them. The money goes back to the card you paid with, and how long it then takes to show up is your bank's business rather than mine, usually a few working days.
After the seven days, a month you have already paid for is not refunded, and stopping ends it without another payment. That said, if something has gone genuinely wrong, write to me anyway. I would rather hear about it than not.
Your sign in is yours
One membership is for one person and their household. Please do not hand your sign in to other people, and please do not copy the videos out and pass them on. Every video link is signed to you and expires, so it will not work for long anyway, but the honest reason is simpler: this is a small thing that only works if the people in it pay for it.
If somebody is plainly sharing their access around, or is unpleasant to other members at the kitchen table, I will end their membership and refund whatever they have not used.
What you write in here
What you write at the kitchen table stays yours. By putting it there you are letting me read it, answer it, and make a video out of it, with your first name and last initial beside it. If you would rather your name was not on it, say so when you write and it will not be.
I screen what goes on the page. Anything with an email address, a telephone number or a web link in it is held back, so that nobody puts their own details somewhere strangers can read them.
What this is not
It is what I know from doing it, not professional advice. Cooking involves heat and cleaning involves chemicals, so use your own judgement, read the label on anything you buy, never mix cleaning products, and if a job needs a tradesman then get a tradesman. I am not liable for what happens if you follow a video, beyond what the law does not let me sign away.
If I have to change this
The date at the top changes with it, and anything that affects what you pay or what you get is emailed to you first, not slipped onto the page.

Reply to any email I have sent you, or write to bertha@berthasway.com. It comes to me and I answer it myself. These terms are governed by the law of the United States and of the state I trade in.
